I hope everyone enjoyed their 4th of July celebration in San Antonio last week. A short drive south of Stone Oak, you'll find the quaint community of Balcones Heights. For a small place, they really know how to throw a party. Every Friday this month, they host the Balcones Heights Jazz Festival 2018 at San Antonio's Wonderland of the Americas Amphitheater. And the 4000+ people that attend each year well surpasses the city's normal population of 3000 residents. Only three concerts remain in the festival this year. Have you made your plans to attend yet?

Balcones Heights Jazz Festival 2018
For the next three Fridays this month, the Balcones Heights Jazz Festival 2018 puts on one heck of a jazz concert in San Antonio. The public is invited to attend absolutely free of charge. Now, it's not uncommon for
"Jazz Babies" (jazz festival diehards) to show up extremely early to the festival in order to find a spot to listen. But, truth be told, there really isn't a bad spot to enjoy the music at Wonderland. You should still get there early. And feel free to bring a chair and/or blanket from home. No seating will be provided at this outdoor venue.
Q101.9's very own David Munoz from "Sunday Morning Jazz" hosts the Balcones Heights Jazz Festival 2018, marking his 24th year doing so. Food vendors will be on-site selling bites to eat as well as beverages. Or, step inside Wonderland's food court to pick up sustenance while you're there.
